Enable Multitouch Gestures Natively on iPhone 4 iOS 4.3 GM


Goodies like Multitouch gestures is exclusively available for iPad on iOS 4.3, which allows you to switch to home screen, bring up the multitasking dock, and switch between apps. You can however enable these gesture on your iPhone 4 as well.

Steps to Activate iOS 4.3 Multitouch-Gestures in iPhone 4

Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3 GM
Step 2: Once you’re jailbroken, launch Cydia and install OpenSSH
Step 3: SSH into your iPhone and browse toSystem>Library>CoreServices>SpringBoard.app>N90.plist
Step 4: Edit the N90.plist file using either a plist editor or a text editor such as TextWrangler.
Step 5: Add a Boolean statement “multitasking-gestures” and set its value to “True”.
Step 6: Save and then restart the Springboard.
Bingo! You are good to go! You should notice the Multitouch Gestures option in the Settings.app file on iPhone 4. Just tap to turn it on.
