Engadget is reporting that iOS 5.0 will be previewed at iPad 2 event on 2nd March at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco!
It’s also almost guaranteed that we’ll see the next version of iOS (number 5 in all likelihood, along with its SDK for devs), and an expansion of Apple’s cloud services (that part is a little… foggy right now). Of course, that will perfectly set up Apple’s announcement of the iPhone 5 in June, which is when iPad owners can likely expect to be using the new software. Regardless, we’ll have the goods come next week, so stay tuned!

Update Cydia in Background on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
Unfortunately, Cydia still doesn’t support the native multitasking / backgrounding feature which Apple introduced with iOS 4.x last year. What this means is that Cydia updates are installed whenever you start the app, followed by those annoying “Reloading Data” screens.

Those who rely on ultrasn0w unlock, can use pwnagetool to restore to a custom 4.2.1 pre-jailbroken IPSW and retain their current baseband and unlock.
