iPhone Nano came with Edge-to-Edge Screen and Voice Navigation?


WSJ is reporting that purported smaller iPhone (codename N97) is lighter in weight and have an edge-to-edge screen with touch interface, as well as a virtual keyboard and voice-based navigation.
The person who saw the prototype of the new iPhone said the device was significantly lighter than the iPhone 4 and had an edge-to-edge screen that could be manipulated by touch, as well as a virtual keyboard and voice-based navigation. The person said Apple, based in Cupertino, Calif., also plans to upgrade the iPhone 4.
iPhone Nano is reported to be available to carriers at about half the price of the main iPhones. Apple currently sells iPhones to carriers for $625 each on average. With carrier subsidies, consumers can buy iPhones for as little as $199 with a two-year contract. Most likely, it will be offered to customers for $99 for 1-2 year contract
Apple is indeed shifting its gears to accelerate sales of its smartphones amid growing competition, specifically with Android. We will update you once we get more information on iPad 2.
