We have seen a white iPad 2 this year, so is Apple going to unveil a white iPhone 5 in June when WWDC takes place? Apple’s senior vice president of marketing, Phil Schiller, who is a familiar face at all Apple media events has indeed confirmed this news on his Twitter page.
In reply to a Twitter follower who asked how he could get a white iPhone, Phil replied:
@airickanderson Hi Eric. The white iPhone will be available this spring (and it is a beauty!).
iPhone 5 is expected to sport a dual core A5 processor similar to iPad 2 and come in a 64GB model in addition to the existing 16GB and 32GB. Also some reports suggest it could have a 4 inch display with edge to edge screen and thinner bezel, a new antenna at the rear, and even a slide out keyboard.
